This Was Meant To Find You (When You Needed It Most)

If her first book reminded you of your worth, this one walks with you through the work of actually claiming it. "This Was Meant To Find You (When You Needed It Most)" is Charlotte Freeman's second collection — the natural companion to Everything You'll Ever Need (You Can Find Within Yourself) — and it goes deeper into the specific emotional terrain that most healing books gloss over: the grief you feel when you finally let someone go, the confusion of starting over, the way self-doubt creeps in exactly when you most need to believe in yourself, and the slow, unglamorous process of learning to stop abandoning yourself for people who were never really choosing you. Freeman writes in short, direct passages — equal parts prose and reflection — in a voice that feels less like an author and more like a friend who has sat with these feelings too. Readers describe opening it to a random page and finding exactly what they needed that day. Sections cover healing through heartbreak, releasing comparisons to others, recognizing what a genuinely good relationship feels like, trusting your own pace, and giving yourself permission to feel everything — the sadness, the anger, the grief — without rushing toward being okay. This is a book for the in-between times: not fully broken, not fully healed, but trying.
