Beauty In The Stillness

In a world that pulls us endlessly toward the past or the future, this book is an invitation to come back to now. "Beauty In The Stillness" is the debut poetry and prose collection from Karin Hadadan — author, mindfulness advocate, and founder of the lifestyle brand ICI ET NU ("here and now"). Written from her own experience navigating chronic illness, heartbreak, and the slow work of self-healing, this book is for anyone who has lost touch with the quiet beauty of the present moment and needs help finding their way back to it. Through short, accessible reflections, Hadadan explores the themes of presence, heartbreak as a catalyst for growth, self-love, loneliness, purpose, and the transformative practice of simply sitting with yourself without judgment. Inspired by the mindfulness philosophy of Eckhart Tolle, her writing bridges the emotional resonance of modern poetry with the grounded, practical wisdom of self-help — making it equally at home on a nightstand or a meditation cushion. Readers describe it as a book they return to again and again — picking it up for a single passage on a hard day, or reading slowly through a period of transition. Perfect for readers who: -Feel anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected from the present moment -Are healing from heartbreak, grief, or a major life change -Struggle with loneliness or sitting with themselves in solitude
